Challenge

Rob G. from East Berlin called Liberty Basement Systems to schedule a no obligation, free inspection & estimate to have his crawlspace evaluated for an encapsulation. Homes may not have an active issue but homeowners may be proactive and make their homes more energy efficient by having their basements and crawlspaces encapsulated or insulated. Liberty Basement Systems was able to offer this homeowner a permanent solution.

Solution

After a free, no obligation estimate, we were ready to do exactly what needed to be done so the customer could enjoy a dry, safe and more energy efficient crawlspace. To provide the best possible service to our customer, this required us to install our industry leading waterproofing products. 

First, we layed out a layer of drainmatting on the crawlspace floor to add a layer of protection and to allow for adequate airflow between the ground and the crawlspace.

Secondly, we put in our SuperSump Pump System. It's an effective and economical solution to your wet crawlspace problems. It resists clogging and can pump up to 1/2 solids. Additionally, it can pump 2,650 gallons of water per hour, and comes with an airtight sump lip that will keep all odors and humidity out. 

With those systems in place, other Basement System products were installed to complete the job. This includes adding Cleanspace to all surfaces to finish the encapsulation.
