Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: The Ultimate Solution To A Dry Basement in Rowland, PA

We were contacted by a Rowland, PA homeowner for help with their wet basement and damp crawl space. As a result of water intrusion and high humidity, mold began to grow. Tom B., a Liberty Basement Systems crawl space repair specialist, was scheduled to inspect the area and offer a solution that would resolve the homeowner's issue permanently.   Tom's thorough assessment led to the diagnosis of the problem, and after the solution was explained, the homeowner expressed their enthusiasm for having a dry and healthy basement. An interior drainage system, a basement wall vapor barrier, a trench drain, a sump pump system with an exterior discharge line, a basement dehumidifier, and an electrical outlet were installed to solve the problem in the basement. Additionally, the crawl space would be treated for mold, have drainage mats installed on the ground, and be encapsulated with a vapor barrier.   To prep the area, Liberty Basement Systems production crew carefully removed and disposed of all water and mold damaged debris. The mold-contaminated walls were then sprayed with a safe and effective mold cleaner. It was necessary to install rim joist insulation. As a result, outside elements will not be able to enter the basement even through the smallest crack. The CleanSpace Basement Wall Vapor Barrier system was then fastened to all the walls. This can prevent water vapor from passing through the foundation walls and direct it to the sump pump instead.
