We received a call from a Bloomsburg, PA homeowner who needed help with a wet basement issue. The basement walls appeared to have numerous cracks. As a result, water entered the basement and the humidity increased. This was to prevent water from getting in through cracks and mold from growing. An interior drainage system was installed along the perimeter of the basement. Once the water is collected, it’s directed to a sump pump, which discharges the water out and away from the house through an exterior discharge line. Additionally, the crew installed a dehumidification system to ensure low humidity levels in the basement. In order to permanently stabilize the wall and prevent it from further inward movement, a patented steel beam wall repair system was implemented.
