Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: WaterGuard Sub-Floor Waterproofing System Installation in Hawley, PA

  This Hawley, PA homeowner was experiencing water entering their basement each time it rained. Knowing the damage that it was causing, they needed a professional. After some research, they decided to call Liberty Basement Systems. Once they met with one of our Inspectors and the installation process was explained, they were eager to have to have a healthy and dry basement!    The inspector decided the best way to waterproof the basement was to have our WaterGuard Sub-Floor Drainage System Installed. Additionally, the TripleSafe Sump Pump will be installed. A sump pump is an important element of a basement waterproofing system. The special wall flange that is on the WaterGuard creates space between the floor and wall. This will allow wall seepage to drain while keeping debris out. The water will then be drained into our TripleSafe Sump Pump System to remove water and keep the basement dry.      First, the crew jackhammered the perimeter of the basement floor. The WaterGuard System is placed in the trench that was made. This system is made to sit along the stone that is placed in the trench, and not to sit in the dirt, so clogging from silt and sediment from under the floor is not a problem. WaterGuard works with all types of foundations.  After the WaterGuard System and TripleSafe Sump Pump were installed, concrete is ready to be poured. On The WaterGuard System, kept untouched by concrete is the WaterGuard Port. This removeable cover works well for inspections or continuous dehumidifier drain.    The homeowner is very pleased with the outcome of their new healthy and dry basement!
