  Liberty Basement Systems inspector, Tyler H. was sent to assess a wet basement problem in Emmaus, PA after the homeowner contacted our office to schedule a no cost obligation basement estimate. Water had been seeping through their concrete block foundation walls causing the basement to become wet and humid. After a thorough inspection of the basement, Tyler discussed his findings with the homeowner. To ensure a healthy and dry basement for years to come, it was decided that by installing a basement drainage system, a sump pump system with exterior discharge line, and a basement dehumidifier would solve their wet basement problems for good.    Our production crew installed 68ft of WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement floor, a TrenchDrain around the oil tank, a TripleSafe Sump Pump System with an Exterior Discharge Line, and Basement Systems' SaniDry XP basement dehumidifier.    WaterGuard is a minimally invasive interior perimeter french drain system that collects water that comes through your foundation walls and redirects that water to your sump pump. For this project, that sump pump is Basement Systems' TripleSafe Sump Pump. The TripleSafe Sump Pump System provides three levels of protection for your basement and peace of mind. It can quickly and quietly pump high volumes of water out of your basement and is an essential part of waterproofing your basement. Every sump pump must have a discharge line/pipe to remove water collected in the sump’s basin. To do that, we direct the Exterior Discharge Line from the sump pump to the exterior of your home to safely drain the water away from your home’s foundation. Finally, the SandiDry XP is a basement dehumidifier that powerfully circulates dry air throughout the space, aggressively drying out your basement. Moisture collected from the air will drain to the TripleSafe Sump Pump and will be directed away from the home through the Exterior Discharge Line.   The homeowner was very happy to know they can now enjoy a clean, healthy, and dry space for good!
