Photo Album: SunHouse Basement Window Enclosure Installation in York, PA
A York, PA homeowner noticed the window wells around his basement windows were corroded and needed to be repaired. Due to the damage of the window enclosure wells he had; it was allowing for water to seep through. Mold, rust, and weed growth were a result of the water seepage and because of the corrosion, the wells were losing their structural integrity by detaching themselves away from the foundation wall. To prevent a much larger problem from happening to both the inside and outside basement window and foundation wall, he searched the internet for a local professional to solve his problem. During the internet search, Liberty Basement Systems was the company that he felt could do the job the right way and scheduled a free inspection.
After inspector, Frank Olson completed his walk through, he concluded to repair the damages to their current window wells, they would need to be replaced. Frank proposed to the customer that SunHouse Basement Window Well Enclosures needed to be installed. For this installation, the production crew would first need to remove the existing corroded well enclosures and thoroughly clean all debris around the area. Next, the area will be dug to the depth required for the SunHouse Window Wells, if needed. Once installed, the SunHouse wells will be tightly secured around the exterior side of the basement window and backfilled where necessary.
