Photo Album: WaterGuard Interior Drainage System removes water from flooded basement in Tafton, PA

  A Tafton, PA homeowner contacted our office after seeing an online ad. After a heavy rain, their basement became flooded with water. After further investigation, it was determined that the current pump system they had was clogged and failing in many areas. This not only caused the basement to become flooded, but condensation that covered the walls led to mold growth.    Appointment Center Manger, Lee Bertovich scheduled a free in-home inspection for Inspector, Robert Whary to complete a full assessment, and determine what is the best solution for the customers wet basement problem. Rob decided the best way to eliminate these problems for good is to install WaterGuard Interior Drainage System, a TripleSafe Sump Pump, TrenchDrain System, and an Exterior Discharge Line with IceGuard, Mold-X mold spray cleaner, and a SaniDry-XP Dehumidifier. After explaining the installation process, the homeowner was eager for one of our production crews to come in and rid their basement of water and mold problems for good.   The interior perimeter of the basement is jackhammered out to install WaterGuard Drainage System. WaterGuard Intercepts water at the perimeter of the basement and drains to the TripleSafe Sump Pump System. TrenchDrain will collect water from doorways, stairways, or even in front of water heater tanks! Water that is drained into TrenchDrain will go to the WaterGuard System. After the water drainage systems move water to the TripleSafe Pump System, it will then be pumped out of the home through the Exterior Discharge Line. IceGuard is attached to the discharge line on the outside of the home. IceGuard allows water to escape if the pipe freezes or becomes blocked for any reason. This will ensure the basement will not flood with water. Mold-X is a safe, cost-effective mold cleaner that is suitable for any interior finished materials! The SaniDry XP Dehumidifier will collect moisture from the air, leaving this customers basements walls dry, and mold free!      Once the job was completed, the homeowner was completed happy and satisfied with the outcome of their basement. They will not have to worry about a basement flood or nasty moldy walls again!
